Darnley Toile was inspired by Chintz, one of Zoffanys oldest and most iconic designs. Originally produced for Temple Newsam, a stately home near Leeds, Chintz was used in a room adjoining Temple Newsams Darnley room, from which this reinterpreted design takes its name.
