Capturing the drama and movement of a moonlit sky, the original artwork for this design was created using pastels; highly pigmented colours were put down in layers and then sanded to create a textural ground. Moon Silk fabric is woven using fil-coupé technique, the fine warp and yarns retain a lightness of handle which makes beautiful curtains.
