Lipari is the largest of the Aeolian islands, seven gems sprinkled in the blue of the Mediterranean Sea and located not far from the shores of Sicily. The name of the island echoes its beauty and the richness, coming from the ancient Greek Lipàra, which means “fruitful”. For its prominent position in the archipelago, the wallcovering featuring one of the most iconic designs of the Armani style, the shagreen texture, has been named after this island.
