SAUVAGE
Meet SAUVAGE, the nobe wallcoverings collection of tartans and plains, created by KT Exclusive and inspired by the beautiful Highlands.
The most celebrated scottish patterns - tartans - include visible diagonal lines wherer different colours blended from the original ones. Tartan is particulary associated with Scotland, as Scottish kilts almost always have tartan patterns. Different tartan designs were produced by local weavers for local tastes and would usually only use the natural dyes available in that area. For example the colour green represents prairies of forests, blue can represent lakes and rivers, and the colour yellow is sometimes used to represent various crops. They say that red tartans were " battle tartans", designed so they would not show blood.
This brand new hi end SAUVAGE wallcoverings collection is an homage to the wild spirit of Scotland and it's turbulent history.
